After 32 years, Glen Cooper, the founder and President of Maine Business Brokers decided to pursue the next chapter in his life and sell the firm. I had joined Glen at Maine Business Brokers in late 2006 after 15 years of intensive entrepreneurial activity. Working as a business broker was a much needed break from running multiple businesses simultaneously in a challenging economy. When Glen decided to sell, the opportunity to buy MBB fell into my lap. They say that luck is only opportunity meeting preparedness!
Owning a business brokerage firm is a perfect fit for me. I have started, bought or been involved in over 12 different businesses over the past 20 years. My diverse business ventures have been in the internet, hospitality, sports, retail, real estate and entertainment industries. These experiences have given me a breadth of knowledge that has allowed me to better understand my clients, and ultimately serve them more effectively.
